Perses is a non-profit self-study online course that aims to provide Persian learners with descriptions of basic grammar concepts of Ancient Greek language in order to prepare them for using Perseus Digital Library to read texts. To achieve this goal, Perses includes comparisons between Ancient Greek and Persian grammar to give the learners a clearer understanding of Ancient Greek language. Also, it uses translation alignment of simple sentences to gradually prepare the learners to face the original texts and help them with basics of the syntax.
Since the purpose of Perses was to help Persian speakers learn Ancient Greek, there is no English version available for this website.
